Laura Anne Henry went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 11, 2015.

Born in Dillon County, South Carolina, on June 4, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Tracy Festus Henry and Annie May Dew Henry of Latta, South Carolina.

Laura Anne was a longtime member of Catfish Creek Baptist Church.

Laura was a graduate of Latta High School, Furman University and John Marshall Law School. She was employed by The Atlanta Journal and Constitution, The Columbia Urban League, and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of South Carolina. She enjoyed the mountains of North Carolina.

Laura Anne cherished her family. She was a devoted daughter, sister and aunt, and was greatly loved. She had a heart of gold and a very giving spirit. She is survived by sisters, Susan Henry Smoak (John), Floy Henry Fanning (Rick), Sara Henry Price (Danny) and her brother, Tracy Festus Henry Jr. Laura, a loving aunt, and is also survived by her nieces, Jennifer Fanning, Kimberly Fanning, Leslie Price, Danielle Price, and Joy Price. She was a very special lady and will be greatly missed. She brightened the lives of those around her. We are all better people for having known and loved her.

A memorial service to celebrate Laura Anne's life will be held at Catfish Creek Baptist Church, 1495 Catfish Church Road Latta, S.C.
