The family emigrated from England to the U.S. in 1908, departing from Liverpool enroute to St. John's, New Brunswick, Canada. They sailed onboard the SS Empress of Ireland, gaining entry to the U.S. on 24 April 1908.
On 27 April 1924, at Seattle, Washington Lucy married Oscar E. Wold. Together they had three children, Irene E. Wold (born 20 July 1925 in Spokane), Edith R. Wold (born 20 February 1927 in Spokane), and Wesley Orme Wold (born 7 August 1934 in Tacoma). Oscar passed away sometime between 1934 and 1940.
Then on 19 August 1940, at Whitefish, Montana, Lucy again wed. This time Harold Conrad Wold became her husband. They apparently had no children together, and he passed away in 1960.
On 12 December 1958 a petition for naturalization was submitted for Lucy.
At the age of seventy years, on 11 August 1971 Lucy passed away in Multnomah County, Oregon.
