Ross Allen Kunz, 47 years old, went to be with the Good Lord on May 1, 2006, at MedCenter One.

Ross was born on February 5, 1959, to Jim and Arlene (Grover) Kunz in Jamestown. He graduated from Bowdon High School in 1977, the University of Mary, and the Radiologic Technology Program at MedCenter One in 1994. He became employed at MedCenter One in the Radiology Department July 10, 1995, and later transferred to MedCenter One Bone, Spine, and Sport Clinic where he was the Supervisor of the Radiology Department. He was a Clinical Instructor for the Radiologic Technology Program and served on the advisory committee for selecting students for the program.

Ross married the woman of his dreams, Marcia Scherr on October 28, 1983. They have two sons, Alexander and Griffin, that are the love and center of their lives. His unwavering faith in God and deep love for his family sustained him in his courageous battle with cancer. His strong faith, positive attitude, and sense of humor were an inspiration to his family and numerous friends.

Ross is survived by his wife Marcia; two sons, Alexander and Griffin; his father, Jim, and step-mother, Sandy; his brothers, Corey (Karen) and Jason (Theresa); his mother-in-law and father-in-law Albinus "Beanie" and Lillian Scherr; seven sisters-in-law Pam (John) Steele, Carol (Ken) Smotherman, Paulette Scherr, Bonnie (Ross) Lang, Lorie (Brian) Bowker, Mary (Rick) Schaible, and Susan (Jim) Schick; and one brother-in-law, Dennis (Debbie) Scherr. He is also survived by his step-family, Eddy (Julie) Jesse, Toni (Paul) Yow, Peggy (Lyle) Herman, and Jamie (Joyce) Jesse, and families, and Terry Nelson; his uncle and aunts, Uncle Frank and Auntie Marge, Dallas, and Betty, Dixie, Harry and Laura and Jack; his 32 nieces and nephews; three great-nieces and nephews; his best buddy, Jeff Johnson; and his second family at the Bone, Spine, and Sport Clinic.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Arlene, and his grandparents, Harold and Martha Grover and Ida Anderson and James L. Kunz.

Burial at the Bowdon Wayside Cemetery, Bowdon.
