Kenneth L. "Ken" Layton

70, Clermont, IN, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, April 7, 2015. Ken was self-employed as owner and operator of K.P. Express along with his wife of 35 years Patricia (White) Layton. He was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps., as well as a former Marion County Deputy Sheriff.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his daughter, Kimberly and his father, Fred L. Layton. He is survived by his wife, Patricia (White) Layton; son, John T. Layton; mother, Alice M. Layton; sisters, Ruth Ann Layton-Summers and Barbara Rankin; brother, John Layton, and his beloved hound-dog, "Spookie."

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 in Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services, 1604 W. Morris St., Indianapolis, IN 46221.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Indy VAMC GPF# 7012, Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center,1481 West 10th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46202.
