Lynn Sophia Harriet Vogel, 48, of 13628 Meggers Road, Kiel, died unexpectedly, Thursday morning Feb. 12, 1998 at her home.

She was born Dec. 13, 1949 in Sheboygan, daughter of Herbert and Stella Bebermeier Vogel. Lynn was a 1968 graduate of Kiel High School. Earlier in her life, she was a switchboard operator at Goodwill Industries in Milwaukee and also worked for the Salvatorian Center, New Holstein. She was a member of St. Peter’s United Church of Christ, Kiel, where she taught Sunday and Bible School. Lynn was an avid sports fan, who collected sports memorabilia for her scrapbooks and enjoyed walking.

Survivors include her parents, Herbert and Stella, rural Kiel; one brother, Herbert Jr. (Lynn) Vogel, rural Elkhart Lake; two sisters, Karen ( Vic) Breunig, Brookfield; Cheryl (Robert) Hersey, Elkhart Lake; Nieces, Nephews, great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandparents.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at Meiselwitz-Vollstedt Funeral Home, Kiel, with the Rev. Raymond C. Coombs, pastor of St. Peter’s United Church of Christ officiating. Burial will be in the Schleswig Cemetery, Rockville.
