West Valley City/Salina, Utah - Our loving dad, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, Max Lewis Williams, age 67, passed away on April 11, 2015, from a 2 month battle of pancreatitis. He was born September 29, 1947 in Salina, Utah, a son of Lewis Thurland and Erna Lenora Larsen Williams. He graduated from North Sevier High School, Class of 1966. Max served his country during the Viet Nam Conflict in the United States Army from 1967 to 1969.

He married Betty Jane Beemus, August 6, 1969 and together they raised three children, Jody, Wendy and Jeffrey. Betty died September 8, 2005.

Max's greatest joys were his grandkids and being on his mule "Bob" in the mountains. He was a true cowboy and mountain man. He loved to hunt, fish, camp and just sit by the campfire telling stories.
