Laura L. Forbes, age 65 years of Hudson, passed away Wednesday, September 24, 2003 at Bixby Medical Center in Adrian. She was born May 20, 1938, in Carey, Ohio, the daughter of Branch Walley and Lucille (Watkins) Barnett. Laura married John B. Forbes on May 28, 1955 in Auburn, Indiana. Laura was a homemaker who loved her family and loved to do all types of crafts. She is survived by her husband, John, seven children, Karen and Merle Eichler of Hudson, Dottie and Rob Vinaske of Hudson, Rose and Rex Leathers of Osseo, Teresa and Dan Clark of Pittsford, John and Kathy Forbes of Hudson, Diane Forbes of Hudson, Becky and Randy Lawson of Jonesville, 18 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, three brothers, Rudy and Jenny Barnett of Hillsdale, Richard and Carol Barnett of Angola, Indiana and Elwood and Noreen Barnett of North Adams, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, her granddaughter, Lacy Ann Eichler, her brother and seven sisters.
