Lewis Wayne Campbell, 62, husband of Sandra (Falls) Campbell of 771 Howardsville Turnpike, passed away Saturday, April 11, 2015 at his residence.
Mr. Campbell was born on January 22, 1953 in Augusta County, a son of the late Eldon Newton and Ruby Elvin Campbell.
Lewis was a member of Ridgeview Baptist Church and was owner – operator of Campbell’s Septic Tank Service for over 50 years with his late father and now son. He enjoyed coon hunting, spending time with his family, and camping.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Campbell was preceded in death by a daughter, Ashley Dawn Campbell and a brother, Donald Brentwood Campbell.
Surviving in addition to his wife whom he married on May 29, 1987 are his children, Donna Faye Campbell, Heather Marie Campbell and Derek Wayne Campbell all at home; two sisters, Wanda Furry and her husband David of Clifton Forge and Brenda Howdyshell and her husband Bill of Greenville; his mother-in-law whom was like a mother to him, Vera Falls of Montebello; and a number of nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 14, 2015 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Frank Hall.
Burial will follow in Calvary United Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service or the residence at other times.
Active pallbearers will be Victor Bruce, Steve Campbell, Carl Henry Snead, Roger Lee Corbin, Jr., Hank Coffey, Dale Moran and David Furry.
It is suggested those desiring make memorial contributions to the Stuarts Draft Rescue Squad, 10 Manor Road, Stuarts Draft, Virginia 24477
