Mrs. Fred (Mary) Gross, 81, of Shady Lane Home, Manitowoc, died Wednesday in Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Friday in Pfeffer Funeral Home and 10 a.m. in Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Leo J. Schmitt will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Gross, nee Mary Leiker, was born Sept. 29, 1895, in Major, Kans., daughter of the late John and Katherine Dechant Leiker. She was married to Fred Gross July 17, 1916, in Munjor. He preceded her in death Feb. 23, 1963. She was a member of Holy Innocents Christian Mothers Altar Society.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, John J. and Esther of Manitowoc and Herman (Harry) and Joyce of Two Rivers; a brother, Dr. Frank J. Leiker of Anaheim, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Rose Peters of Kansas City, six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. 11 brothers and five sisters preceded her in death.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral home 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday where a prayer service will be 8 p.m. by Christian Mothers Altar Society, relative and friends.
