Jeff Doyle passed away on Wednesday January 7, 2015 at the age of 55. He was born at March Air Force Base in Riverside, CA, on March 16, 1959 to Gerald & Theresa Doyle. Jeff was a devoted family man and a man of faith. He enjoyed long road trips, camping with his family & pets & fishing. He was a very caring, generous, & honest man with integrity & strong principles. He retired from a career in corrections in 2009, after serving for over 20 years. He began his career as a correctional peace officer, but spent a majority of his public service as a parole officer. Additionally, he served as Vice President for the California Correctional Peace Officers' Association (CCPOA) and was well respected for his fairness and treatment towards coworkers and inmates/paroles alike. His talent with words led to his founding of Pacovilla.com where he regularly exposed hypocrisy and fraud within the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR). His satirical wit made the site an ideal forum where the common line officer could commiserate with fellow workers, vent frustrations about working conditions and laugh at lampoons of state officials, administrators and bureaucrats. He had beautiful blue eyes & a handsome smile. He loved to laugh & to make others laugh with him. We love him dearly & he will forever be missed. He will always be in our hearts. He is survived by his wife, Loni, daughter Lynnette & her husband, Kris Boughton, daughter Jessica & her husband, Brian Ruley, brother Greg & his wife Linda Doyle & his parents, Jerry & Terry Doyle. Jeff had three grandchildren, Jesse Boughton & Paul and Elise Ruley. He looked forward to meeting his grandson, Liam Jeffrey Ruley due later this month. His services were held at the East Lawn Memorial Park in Sacramento, CA on January 14, 2015.
