Donna Jo Oliver, 70, of Burley, passed away Saturday, April 11, 2015, at Parke View Rehabilitation and Care Center in Burley.

Donna was born Jan. 9, 1945, in Tacoma, Wash., the daughter of Clarence and Maude (Ford) Miller. She received her education in Washington and graduated from Tumwater High School. She then attended business college. She married Sam Oliver on April 23, 1966, in Olympia, Wash.

She worked for many years at Stars Ferry Building Supply in Burley, prior to working at Mind and Body Works. She was a member of the Burley Music Club and the local and state ceramic associations. She loved and was gifted in ceramics and also enjoyed crafts and bowling. However, most important to Donna was her family; she was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and simply adored her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Sam Oliver of Burley; her children, Jan Spackman of Spokane, Wash., and Jon Oliver of Boise; five grandchildren, Chase Carraway, Jason Carraway, Sawyer Spackman, Karsyn Spackman and Jaxon Spackman; and three brothers, Jerry Miller of Lacey, Wash., Ron Miller of Olympia, Wash., and Dennis Miller of Burley. She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Miller; her mother, Maude Dove; her stepfather, Mort Dove; and a sister, Marilyn Miller.
