Kenneth C. Gentry, 78, of Rupert, passed away Saturday, April 11, 2015, at Minidoka Memorial Hospital.

Kenneth was born Nov. 7, 1936 in Acequia, Idaho, to Wesley Clyde and Margaret Alice Enyeart Gentry. He grew up attending school in Rupert, graduating in the 1955 and served in the United States Army and National Guard. He later married Lois M Anderson October 21, 1960 in Elko, Nevada and has resided in Rupert most of his life.

Kenneth worked for Kraft Foods in the lab for 30+ years and in his spare time and retirement he enjoyed raising hogs. He also enjoyed following football and compiling his stats to make a few well-placed bets and trips to Jackpot.

Kenneth is survived by his wife Lois of Rupert and three children Shayla (Mark) Zampedri of Rupert, Carla Gentry of Rupert and Chad Gentry of Rupert. His many grandchildren Amy (Robert) Brussco, Nathan (Jessica) Zampedri, Derek (Krystal) Holland, Dominique Holland, DanaLee Holland, Dakota Rupard, Kallie (Billy) Barber. Great-grandchildren Robert Brussco Jr. Karter, Claire, and Cam Zampedri; Kalub, Kannon, Kaisin and Hali Holland; and Dylan McKenzie. Brothers Keith, Lee and David Gentry.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Raymond and General and his three sisters Margaret, Ruby and Diane and a granddaughter Danielle Holland.
