Funeral services for Mrs. Lizzie Rhodes, who died yesterday [May 27, 1943] afternoon, have been set tentatively for Sunday afternoon in the Church of Christ. Mrs. Rhodes had been ill some time before her death.
Surviving are two sons, Charles [Arthur] Kline of Estherville and Frank Kline of Boise, Idaho. A sister, Mrs. Ike Rogers of Estherville, and a brother, Ike Hawk, who lives in the West, also survive. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, May 28, 1943)
