Henrietta Richter Purdy, 86, of 6244 Fly Road, East Syracuse, died Sunday at her home after a long illness.
Mrs. Purdy was born in Syracuse and lived there most of her life until moving to East Syracuse five years ago. She was a communicant of St. Matthew's Church and a member of its Guild Society.
Surviving are a son, George of East Syracuse; a sister, Gertrude Dean of North Syracuse; three grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at Forani & Cline Funeral Home and 9 a.m. in St. Matthew's Church, both in East Syracuse. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery.
