Byron Earl Jensen, 70, of Lincoln, passed away on April 10, 2015, at the Vibra Hospital in Mandan after a very long illness. Services will be held on Tuesday, April 14, at 11:00 a.m. at the Bismarck Funeral Home with Rev. Wes Aardahlofficiating. Burial will be at the St Mary’s Cemetery, Bismarck.

Byron was born on August 1, 1944, in Fargo, ND, to Knute and Hilda (Becker) Jensen. He was raised and attended school in Napoleon. Byron joined the US Army in 1961. He married Dolly (Marzolf) Jensen in Dec 1961. He lived in several places and had a military tour in Germany. He was honorably discharged from the service. Byron and his family moved to Lincoln in the early 70’s and resided there since. Byron did various jobs like construction, and truck driving.

Byron enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, deep sea fishing, his grandkids and he really enjoyed the simple things in life.


He was preceded in death by his wife Dolly (Darlene); parents, Knute and Hilda; his brother, Kenneth, his daughter Julia; and granddaughter Katie.
