Philip Wilson Bennett age 62 of Mt. Juliet died April 11, 2015, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Born June 3, 1952, he was the only son of Frank Wilson Bennett and Dorothy Holladay Bennett. He was a 1970 graduate of Lebanon High School. He retired from Performance Food Group and attended Joy Church International in Mt. Juliet.
Married Velma Diane Bates on 11-30-1974 Wilson County, TN. She was daughter of Calvin Bates and Irene Smith. They had one son.

He is survived by his wife of forty years, Diane Bates Bennett; son, Zachary (Audrey) Bennett; three aunts: Maurine Henley, Hazel Gann, Elizabeth (Bill) Ragsdale.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 14, 2015, at 1 p.m. from the Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Rev. Billie Friel and Pastor Rob Simms officiating. Interment will be in Wilson County Memorial Gardens.
