Inscription

NO headstone exists in this cemetery for this person. There have been 2 headstone census’s done, the first in 1933 by the NH Chapter of the Daughters of Founders and Patriots of American, and again in 1995 by myself. Any early records of the cemetery were destroyed in a fire in 1955, and it is the opinion of many people, including the caretaker John Colby (now deceased) who served from 1956 to about 2000, that there are more people buried in the cemetery than there are stones for, and this individual may be one of them. – Mary Ellen Moulton, Plaistow, NH 2016.
