MIDDLESBORO -
Phillip Jackie Farmer, 58, passed away Tuesday, October 26, 2004, at Middlesboro Appalachian Regional Hospital.
He was born August 26, 1946, a son of the late Roy Farmer and Juanita Farmer, who survives. He was a member of Winchester Avenue Church of God.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Roy G. "Biggen" Farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Mildred "Zookie" Farmer, Middlesboro; mother, Juanita Farmer, Middlesboro; sons, Phillip J. Farmer Jr., and Jamie Farmer, both of Middlesboro; daughter, Jacquelyn Farmer, Dayton, Ohio; two granddaughters, Tonya and Jada; brothers, Jerry (Deanie) Farmer, Huber Heights, Ohio, Dale Farmer, Miamisburg, Ohio; sisters, Delores Shearsmith, Spartanburg, S.C., Brenda Brandenburg, Middlesboro, Sharon (Kyle) Russell, Dallas, Ga., and Anita Farmer, Middlesboro; and a host special nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 8 p.m. Thursday at Creech Funeral Home with the Rev. Vernon Willard presiding. Music will be provided by Frances Gambrel.
Interment will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Green Hills Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be his nephews. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Creech Funeral Home, Middlesboro, which is in charge of all arrangements.
