Margaret K. Warnecke, 88 Private family services were held in Piedmont for Margaret Katherine Warnecke, 88, who died last Thursday in Albuquerque, N.M. Bom in Colorado, Mrs. Warnecke came to California with her husband, architect Carl I. Warnecke, and lived in Oakland and Piedmont. Her husband's firm became international as the firm of Miller and Warnecke under the leadership of her son, John Carl Warnecke, owner of a ranch and vineyard in Alexander Valley.
After the death of her husband in 1971, Mrs. Warnecke moved to the ranch and lived there until recently moving to New Mexico to live with her daughter, Margaret Melanie Putnam.

In addition to her son and daughter, she is survived by six grandchildren, John Carl Wanrneke, Jr., Margaret Easterling Warnecke, Frederic Pierce Warnecke, Rodger Cushing Warnecke, Thomas Milton Putnam, Jr. and Gregory Blanchard Putnam, and two great-grandchildren ...
Burial was at Mountain View Cemetery in Oakland.
