She was born Feb. 6, 1922, in Hartford, Ala., to William and Lillie Brown Woodham.
Mrs. Williams was a past president of the PTO at Lula B. Edge Elementary, a Sunday school teacher at Rosemont Baptist Church and a volunteer at Twin Cities Hospital. She won the volunteer award as a resident at the Niceville Pavilion.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Shearod "Bo" Williams in 1992 (former postmaster of Niceville, Fla.); infant son, Jack Woodham Williams, in 1961; sister, Mary Hutchinson; three brothers-in-law and four sisters-in-law.
Survivors include her daughter, Ann Lassiter, and her husband, Harold of Temple, Texas; sons, Lee Williams, and his wife, Darralyn, of Vicksburg, Miss., Travis Williams of Temple, Texas, and Richard Williams of Panama City, Fla.; grandchildren, Jeffrey H. Lassiter of Austin, Texas, Larry S. Lassiter and his wife, Holly, of Magnolia, Texas, and Shelby Duncan of Niceville, Fla.; great-granddaughter, Allyssa Lassiter of Magnolia, Texas; sisters, Sarah Shephard of Dothan, Ala., and Margaret McDonald of Moline, Fla.; sisters-in-law, Kate Messer of Samson, Ala., and Annette Williams of Navarre, Fla., and numerous nieces and nephews.
A time of visitation will be from 12 to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2007, at Twin Cities Cremation and Funeral Services, 1405 John Sims Parkway, Niceville.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2007, at Twin Cities Cremation and Funeral Services, 1405 John Sims Parkway, Niceville with the Rev. Ken Boller officiating.
Interment will follow in Rocky Cemetery.
