O. C. Oliver died at his home near Ross Monday morning at 7 o’clock of pneumonia. Mr. Oliver had been ill for three weeks and developed pneumonia some four or five days before the end came.
The dead man is survived by his wife and five children, Mrs. Eric Fletcher, and Elmo Oliver, of Osceola, Mrs. Pearl Myers, of Jacksonville, Fla., Boyd Oliver, of Memphis, and Nina Elizabeth Oliver, of Ross.
Funeral services were held at the family residence after which interment was made at Violet Cemetery in this city.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. W. A. Lindsay, pastor of the Methodist Church.
Note: When Mrs. Oliver dies her obit calls her husband, O. B. Oliver.
