Funeral services for Mr. Joe G. Clemons, age 87, of Flintville, TN, who passed away Friday, March 2, 2012, at his residence, will be conducted Sunday, March 4, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with Bro. Billy Langford officiating. Burial will be in Flintville Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Sunday from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home. Mr. Clemons was a native of Lauderdale County, AL, the son of the late Raleigh and Lee Richardson Clemons. He worked as a mechanic for 30 years at Yearwood Implement Company and was a veteran of the United States Army. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Geraldine Canerday Clemons. Survivors include son, Bobby & Nora Clemons of Flintville, TN, and granddaughter: Nicole & Jeremy Campbell of Cherokee, AL; great-grandchildren: Caroline Grace & Slade Campbell of Cherokee, AL.
