He was born 21 Nov 1937, in Marion, Illinois, to George Wesley and Anna Elizabeth Williams Basham and moved to Ridge Manor 30 years ago from Brooksville, Florida. He was a retired electrician.
A loving father and husband, he is survived by his wife of 48 years, Barbara A. Basham; two sons, James Taylor and Gina Basham, and Richard Wayne and Sharon Basham; his step-mother, Gaye Basham; two step-brothers, Daryl Lilly and Harold Lilly; one step-sister, Loretta Cox; three brothers, George, Bob, and Charles Basham; two grand-daughters. Amber Marcotte and Heather Delcore; and his great-grand-daughter, Skye Marcotte.
Interment services will take place at a later date.
