A lifelong resident of Hardeman County, Melissa was born in Bolivar, Tennessee on Sunday, December 1, 1974 to Dennis Kaye and Cindy Kay Spencer Jones, who survive. She worked as a waitress for over five years at El Ranchito in Brownsville, and was a member at New Beginnings Church in Bolivar. She had a strong will, and enjoyed many things in her life, including watching basketball and St. Louis Cardinals baseball, playing cards, and spending time with her family. She loved her children and loved to be "Me Me" to her grandchildren. She loved spending time with her church family and, above all, loved the Lord.
In addition to her parents, who reside in Bolivar, she is survived by her daughters, Kaytlin Brooke Dacus of Toone, and Kaycee Marie Dacus of Toone; sons, Phillip Kyle Jones of Bolivar, and Justin Keeling Graves of Bolivar; sister, Angela Kay Hill and husband Joseph of Middleton; fiancé, Billy D. Phipps of Bolivar; grandchildren, Chloe Nicole Jones, and Zoey Marie Jones, both of Bolivar; and nephews, Peyton Hill, Nathan Hill and Ryan Hill, all of Middleton.
