Edward F. Dickau, Jr., 43, of 230 Hubbard St., Glastobury, secretary-treasurer of the Glastonbury Lumber Co., died Monday at Hartford Hospital.
Born in Hartford, he lived in Glastonbury all his life. He was a graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Agriculture. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict.
He was a member of the Church of St. Mark Evangelical Lutheran in Glastonbury. He was a member of the South Glastonbury Grange, the Elks of Glastonbury and the Glastonbury Boating Association.
He leaves his wife, Mrs. E. Marie Bransfield Dickau; a son, Edward F. Dickau III; a daughter, Cheryl Ann Dickau; his mother, Mrs. Anne P. (Mozwish) Dickau; and a brother, Robert E. Dickau, all of Glastonbury.
The funeral will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. in the Church of St. Mark Evangelical Lutheran in Glastonbury, 75 Griswold St. Burial will be in Green Cemetery, Glastonbury.
Calling hours will be today and Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Glastonbury Funeral Home, 450 New London Turnpike. Memorial donations may be made to the Church of St. Mark Memorial Fund or the Glastonbury Auxiliary Police Ambulance Association.
