She graduated from Alexandria High School and attended business school.
During her career, Judy worked as an office manager, retiring from Woodland Bowl. In her spare time, she enjoyed bowling, bridge, visiting casinos and going out to eat. She was also an avid sports fan, especially enjoying the Cubs, Pacers, Colts, and IU basketball. Judy was also a member of the IU Women Bridge Club.
Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Ben Black and brother, William Stewart.
She is survived by her sons, Tracy Black (Karen) and Tim Black (Kim Grider); grandchildren great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Marilyn Stewart; nephew, William Stewart (Kathy); grandnephews and numerous other family and friends.
