Gwen Leavitt Pulsipher, age 80, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 16, 2005 while surrounded by her loving family.

Gwen was born January 12, 1925 in Bunkerville, Nevada to John and Lillian Leavitt.

Gwen married H. Stewart Pulsipher on September 23, 1942 in the St. George LDS Temple.

Gwen was a busy mother who has taken good care of her family. She was a hard worker inside her home, canning, and outside in the orchard. She worked side by side with Stewart building their homes.

She was faithful member of the LDS Church and served faithfully in many callings.

Gwen is survived by her husband, H. Stewart; children, Errol (Paula), Bryan (Debra), and Darron (Tracee); fourteen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; sister, June Waite; brother, Reed (Barbara) Leavitt; and sisters-in-law, Bernece (Orson) Leavitt and Lucille (Keith) Lewis. Preceded in death by a son, Leon; parents, mother and father-in-law, two brothers, and one sister.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 20, 2005 at 12:00 p.m. in the Rosecrest First Ward Chapel, 3101 South 2300 East. Friends may call on Sunday, June 19, 2005 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 South 2300 East, and prior to the services at the church on Monday from 10:45-11:45 a.m.
Interment: Elysian Burial Gardens.
