ALBERT J. "SARGE" ENDERUD, 86, of Fowler, a former Colorado Springs resident, died Tuesday at a Deckerville, Mich., nursing home. He was a farmer in Fowler and had been the custodian at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Colorado Springs for many years.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Fowler, with the Rev. Jim Berg officiating. Burial will be at Fowler Cemetery. Griffy Funeral Home, Fowler, is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Enderud was born Nov. 8, 1902, in Fowler, to Herman Olfa and Augusta (Jacobsen) Enderud. He lived in Colorado most of his life and was a resident of Colorado Springs during the 1950s and 1960s. Mr. Enderud was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Fowler.

He was married June 27, 1937, in Fort Morgan, to Thelma Camp, who died Sept. 17, 1975.

Mr. Enderud is survived by a daughter, Bonnie Jean Fritz of Elkton, Mich.; two brothers, Bill of Pueblo and Julius of Riverside, Calif.; three sisters, Marie Thomas of Pueblo, Nora Ebbesson of Spokane, Wash., and Borghild Stratton of Redlands, Calif.; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
