Family funeral services will be held tomorrow for Mrs. Ella Doreen Rudder, a retired Mill Valley art and music teacher, who died yesterday at her home after a long illness.
Mrs. Rudder lived in Mill Valley for 44 years, residing at 25 Sycamore Avenue.
She was born in Sidney, Australia, and came to San Francisco in 1913, moving 4 years later to Mill Valley. She was an art teacher for 15 years at the Blithedale Elementary School, a one-time private school, then taught at her home.
She was a volunteer Red Cross Worker, and a member of the Episcopal Church of Our Savior.
Her husband, Charles J. Rudder, is a retired banker.
She is also survived by a daughter, Noreen Maxey of Mill Valley, and a grandson.
Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. from the Church of Our Saviour, Mill Valley. Friends may call at the Russell and Gooch Mortuary until noon tomorrow. Interment will be in Mt. Tamalpais Cemetery.
