Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Norma Christiansen Jenkins, passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2003 at Central Valley Medical Center in Nephi of complications incident to age.

She was born February 15, 1921 in Centerfield to James Henry and Gertrude Hansene Jahn Christensen.

At age fifteen, she moved with her family to Nephi, where she graduated from Juab High School and Juab stake seminary.

She has worked at the commercial Bank, J.C. Penny Co., and First Security Bank.

She married Joseph Barris Jenkins on August 15, 1945 in Nephi and was sealed to him in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on August on 15, 1946. They lived in Kirkland, Washington for several years and then returned to Nephi.

She served in many LDS Church callings, including stake missionary, Primary and YWMIA presidencies, Relief Society president (twice), teacher, visiting teacher, and ordinance worker in the Manti LDS Temple.

She was a longtime member of the American Legion Auxiliary and a charter member of the "Variette" civic club. She loved cooking, gardening, serving her family and others.

She had unlimited patience and unconditional love for everyone. Her kind nature and her spiritual strength blessed the lives of many. She had great "faith, hope, and charity" and lived by the "golden rule."
