A memorial gathering for Danny P. Erg, 52, of Myrtle Point, will be held at a later date. Cremation will be held at Ocean View Memory Gardens Crematory.
He was born March 14, 1953, in Natrona Heights, Pennsylvania, the youngest of five children, to Paul and Florence (Cooper) Erb and died February 10 in Eugene of heart failure. Danny was very active in football and baseball when he was in school. At the age 15, he went into the Army and was in the Vietnam war. He came home and decided to go into the Navy. After coming home, Danny decided on a career as a security officer in Pennsylvania, Arizona and California. In November 1993, Danny met the love of his life, his wife Susan. Not soon after, they had a daughter, Carmen. He was a proud daddy and they both will miss him very much. Danny was a very likeable person and will be missed by all the people he came in contact with during his life.
He will join his father and mother who passed away before him. He will be greatly missed by now he is with God the Father and finally at peace. Thanks to everyone during this trying time for us.
