Edna May Hunter, 90, of Richmond, widow of Jesse Hunter, passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2015, at her home.

She was born December 24, 1924, in Madison County, Ky., a daughter of the late Elisha P. and Bessie Price Estes.
She was a retired electronic equipment technician for the Blue Grass Army Depot and was a member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees. She was the oldest living member of First Church of the Nazarene where she loved to work in the nursery for many years.

Edna liked to cook, enjoyed crafts, gardening and listening to gospel music.

Survivors include: her son, Ronald C. Hunter (Pat) of Richmond; two grandchildren, Ronald S. Hunter (Stephanie) and Charles M. Hunter (Lisa and her children, Lilly & Lakelyn) of Richmond; a brother, Earl Estes of Waco; two sisters, Louise Rupard (Charles) of Waco and Dorothy Johns of Richmond.

She was preceded in death by brothers Russell Estes, Clarence Estes and Edgar Estes.

Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, April 10, 2015, at Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Lewis officiating.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be conducted 11 a.m. Monday, April 13, 2015, at Madison County Memorial Gardens
