Mrs. Bagwell died peacefully at 8:40 a.m. February 28, 2010, in Palmetto Richland Hospital, at the age of 91. She was born in Walterboro, SC, to the late Essie Maharrey and Louis Byrd. She was predeceased by her loving husband of almost 68 years, Cecil Riley Bagwell. She was a faithful member of Harrison Road Baptist Church for many years, and she was well known for her devotion to her family; as well as for her cooking, sewing and gardening skills.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, William Albert and Arthur Lee Boone.
