He was born October 26, 1923 in Hartford, Illinois, a son of the late Martin and Ethel (Swartz) Drenovac.
He was a farmer throughout his life and ran the Twin Oaks Restaurant along with his parents. He was a member of the Wood River Masonic Lodge and proudly served his country with the United States Coast Guard during World War II.
In celebration of his life, a graveside service will be held at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis with full military honors
