SHERRY ERON (FAIRCLOTH) SKINNER
(1942-2015)

Sherry Eron (Faircloth) Skinner went home to be with the Lord on March 7, 2015. Sherry was born March 1, 1942 in Asheville, NC, the daughter of James E. Faircloth and Muriel G. (Mann) Faircloth. She is best remembered for her strong devotion to her Lord and care in raising her family. She is a published Christian poet who lived her life for her Heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ.

Her parents, her husband of 41 years, Marvin David Skinner (1925-2006), and her brother James Malcolm Faircloth and his wife, Donna Faircloth, predeceased her.

Two sons, David A. Skinner and Daniel E. Skinner, and his wife, Lisa Skinner, three grandsons, August Skinner, Jared Skinner, and Nathan Skinner, three brothers, Donald L. Faircloth, Alvin K. Faircloth, and his wife, Lynn Faircloth, John E. Faircloth, and his wife, Barbara Faircloth, two sisters, Mildred (Faircloth) Glass, Elizabeth (Faircloth) Grimm, and her husband, Wade Grimm, and many nieces and nephews survived her.

The family received friends at The Oaklawn Chapel from 5:00-7:00 PM, Thursday, March 12, 2015. Funeral services were held at The Oaklawn Chapel at 10:00 AM, Friday, March 13, 2015. Interment followed in Greenlawn Cemetery on Beach Blvd., Jacksonville, FL.
