Herbert Brumfield 70, Patoka, died this morning at St. Mary's Hospital in Centralia March 11 1987. He was born in Clinton County on September 27, 1916 to Ora and Zora {Carter} Brumfield. On March 28, 1938 he married Oleta Roseman in St. Louis Missouri and she survives. Other survivors include a daughter, Miss Beverly Brumfield, Patoka Ilo. He was preceded in death by two brothers. Mr. Brumfield was a farmer. He was a member of the Marion County Farm Bureau and was of the Methodist Faith. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 A.M. at the Cox, Martin and Day Funeral Home in Patoka. Visitation is scheduled for Friday from 6-9 at the Funeral home and Saturday until the time of Service. Memorials may be made to the Patoka Ambulance Service.
