CHARLES HENRY SCHLOTTERBECK, 82, of 407 Sherwood Drive, died at his home Sunday afternoon. Born in Hagerstown, he was the son of William and Jenny Kneisley Schlotterbeck.

He was a member of St. Marks Lutheran Church. Employed by the Western Maryland Railway for 45 years, he was a member of the Brotherhood and Railroad Trainmen. He was also a member of the Moose Lodge.

He is survived by his wife, Mr. Eva Bennett Schlotterbeck; two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Louise) Frick, Hagerstown and Mrs. Garvin (Evelyn) Benner, Jr., Macon, Ga.; four sisters, Mrs. Bertha Campbell, Catonsville and Mrs. Helen Gearhart, Mrs. Mary Donat and Mrs. Rose Collins, all of Hagerstown; two brothers, Luther Schlotterbeck and Edward Schlotterbeck, both of Hagerstown; 4 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Services were held at the Coffman Funeral Home.
