LARRY L. MANN
May 12, 1939 ~ March 9, 2015

"Larry loved his Heavenly Father. He was a very caring and loving husband, father, grandfather, and a fisherman's hero. He will be missed."

Larry L. Mann, 75, of Brush Prairie, Washington, went to his Heavenly home March 9, 2015. He was born in Clark, South Dakota to Wayne and Winifred Mann. Larry graduated from Battle Ground High School (Washington), class of 1958.

He was in in the U.S. Navy for two years and two years in the Reserves.

Larry was employed as a meat cutter for 35 years.

He loved being involved with church activities, his family, friends, fishing, and telling stories. He especially enjoyed going to Alaska to fish and be with family.

Larry was a longtime member of Manor Evangelical Church, the CCA Fishing Club and past member of NW Steelheaders, all near Battle Ground, Washington.

Larry is survived by his high school sweetheart and love of his life of 56 years, Maryhelen Mann; daughters, Marilee (Craig) Randall of Battle Ground, Washington, Rosilee Mann of Vancouver, Washington and Karen (Marlin) Benedict of Wrangell, Alaska; son, David (Dawn) Mann of Vancouver, Washington; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Annette Davis of Vancouver, Washington, Judy Sorrell of Castle Rock, Washington and Linda Collins of Henderson, Nevada; and his brother, Glenn Mann of Fairbanks, Alaska.

He was preceded in death by both of his parents and granddaughter, Emilee Randall.

A special thanks to the ER nurses and doctors on the 3rd and 5th floors of Salmon Creek Legacy Hospital in Vancouver, Washington. You were wonderful!

A Celebration of Life was held Saturday, April 11, 2015 at Manor Evangelical Church, 17913 NE 72nd Ave., Battle Ground, WA 98604. A graveside service was at Evergreen Memorial Garden on March 16, 2015 in Vancouver, Washington.
