Everal H. Perkins was born in Red Wing, Minn., on April 9, 1895, the son of Frank and Daisy Perkins. He grew to manhood in Elsworth, Wis., and attended college in River Falls, Wis. On Sept. 4, 1926 he was united in marriage to Alberta Jones at Spirit Lake, Iowa. Mr. Perkins was employed by the General Mills in the Department of sales and manager in the feed and seed division. In 1956 Mrs. and Mrs. Perkins came to Alexandria where Mr. Perkins had made his home for the past 13 years. Mrs. Perkins preceded him in death on Oct. 2, 1966.
Mr. Perkins passed away April 23, 1969 at the age of 74 years. Surviving is one son, Dr. Douglass E. Perkins and wife, Nancy and three grandchildren: Polly, Peter and Susan; one sister, Mrs. Emily Gregg of LaCourse, Wis.
Funeral services were held April 26, 1969 from the Emmanuel Episcopal church, Alexandria, the Rev. R. E. Harvey officiating. Pallbearers were: Howard Jones, Don Krueger, Rev. Dan Swenson, Nels E. Nelson, Dr. Wm. Heegaard, Jerome Van Kempen.
