Funeral service for Melanie Thomas Hamilton, age 57 of Fayetteville, will be conducted Saturday April 11, 2015 at 10 a.m. at the Fayetteville Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church with Rev. Bryan Bult officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Hamilton passed away Wednesday April 8, 2015 at her residence.
A native of Memphis, TN, Mrs. Hamilton was the daughter of Donna Rier Thomas and Dr. Jim Thomas who survive. She was office manager for Mack Hamilton DDS and a member of the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church. She loved her family, being outdoors playing tennis and golf and traveling. Her greatest joy was her granddaughter Haley Brown.
Visitation with the family will be Friday April 10, 2015 from 4-8 p.m at the Fayetteville Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church.

Survivors in addition to her parents include her husband Dr. Mack Hamilton of Fayetteville, two daughters Dr. Amy (Troy) Constantine of Lafayette, LA, Laura (Jonathan) Brown of Fayetteville, granddaughter Haley Brown of Fayetteville, sister Lisa (Gary) Dean of Memphis, TN, brother Dr. Jet (Elizabeth) Thomas of Memphis, TN, one great niece Virginia Grace Dean, four nephews Hunter (Whitney) Dean, Michael Dean, Parker Thomas, Sam Thomas, aunt Barbara Wennemark of Memphis, TN, and two cousins Sherrye Willett and Larry Stewart.

Visitation with the family will be Friday April 10, 2015 from 4-8 p.m at the Fayetteville Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials to Fayetteville-Lincoln County Library, Fayetteville A.R.P. Church or the American Cancer Society.
