Mrs. Virginia Dorris Groover Beck, 92, of Powder Springs, GA passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2015.

A graveside service will be 4 PM, Saturday, April 11th at Hollywood Cemetery in Tallapoosa, GA.

Mrs. Beck retired from Lockheed-Martin. She was a dog lover, flower & vegetable gardener and enjoyed going on cruises & spending time with her family. She was a member of Olive Springs Baptist Church.

Survivors include her brother & sister-in-law, Jimmy L. & Jean Groover of Kennesaw, GA; nieces & spouses, Debra & Eddie Speir of Kennesaw, GA, Pam & Steve Duvall of Powder Springs, GA; great nieces & spouse, Stephanie & Matt Reeves, Alicia Crist, Holly Duvall & Meredith Speir; great, great nephews Carson & John Reagan Reeves & her beloved dachshund, Rusty.

The family will receive friends 6-8 PM, Friday, April 10th at Carmichael Funeral Home in Marietta (770) 424-4924.
