Dottie Algea
Jessie Eleanor Algea, 93, of Akron, passed away peacefully on April 6, 2015, surrounded by family and friends.
She was born in Akron on July 16, 1921, to the late Perry and Jessie Addleman. Dottie played her last game of Mahjong on March 24th, and her mind was brilliant until the end. She was planning with Virginia how she would like the flower beds planted this spring, and Virginia promised she will do it.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, James Algea; and her two sisters, Inee and Bets. She is survived by her daughters, Vicki Sue and Lois; her grandchildren, Becca, Jessie, and Jachin; her great-grandchildren, Destiny and Dasia, Cody, Devin, and Rusty, and Ricky and Jaykin; and her niece, Kennie Boeckeler.
We, the family, give our profound thanks to all of Dottie's friends who gave her so much love during her life.
Dottie requested no funeral service. She will be laid to rest with her husband at Hillside Memorial Park. To leave a special message for the family online, visit www.NewcomerAkron.com. (NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 330-784-3334)
