Obituary:
MRS. LORMA I. HALL, 91, 433 Broad St., died Sunday, Oct. 1, 1978, at Elk Haven Nursing Home, St. Marys. A daughter of Joshua [sic] Bard and Matilda Briggs Bard, she was born Aug. 6, 1887, at Germany Valley. Mrs. Hall was a member of the Moorhead United Methodist Church, Broadway Chapter 486 of the Eastern Star and Rebecca Lodge. Surviving are three sons, Raymond Hall of Brockport; Sherman Hall of Sharon; Eugene J. Price of Merritt Island, Fla.; two brothers, Roy Bard and Herman Bard of Mt. Union, two sisters, Mrs. Dessie Faust, Harrisburg, Mrs. Edna Brandt of Chambersburg, six grandchildren , ten great-grandchildren and and a great-great granchild. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Leroy Price, and second husband, Elliott J. Hall, and three brothers. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Carlson Funeral Home. Services were conducted from the funeral home at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 5, by the Rev. George S. Cook and the Rev. Donald Coughenor. Interment was in Morningside Cemetery, DuBois. The family requests memorials to Moorhead United Methodist Church.
