Funeral services and a Mass of Christian Burial for Christine A. Bailey Lane, 41, a resident of Davenport, will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 9, 2015 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 417 Main Street, Davenport. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Davenport. The family will greet friends 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday (today) April 8, 2015 at the Halligan McCabe DeVries Funeral Home, 614 Main Street, Davenport. There will be a prayer service at 4:00 p.m. today at the funeral home that all are invited to attend.

Christine died Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at Genesis Medical Center-West Central Park, Davenport, following a courageous 10 year battle with cancer. Her loving family was at her side when she passed.

Christine Ann Bailey was born November 9, 1973 in Davenport, Iowa the daughter of William and Sharon (Murphey) Bailey. Christine graduated from Davenport Central High School the class of 1992.

Christine married William C. “Bill” Allen, and together they had two boys, Christopher and Joshua Allen. She later was united in marriage to Josh S. Lane, on October 17, 2010.

Christine was employed by Genesis as a switchboard operator for both hospitals.

She loved spending time with her boys and friends.

Memorials may be made to her family.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband Josh Lane; and their children Christopher and Joshua Allen, Josh, Jr. and Steven Lane all of Davenport; her parents William and Sharon Bailey, Davenport; her grandmother, Virginia Bailey, Davenport; her siblings, Kathleen (Steadman) Crawford, Maryland, Timothy (Sue) Bailey, Aledo, IL, Lisa (Todd) Nowcheck, Aurora, IL, Anthony (Lindsay) Bailey, Galesburg, IL; her mother-in-law, Karen Lane, Erie, IL; and sisters-in-law, Karina and Karlene; as well as, numerous loving nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

She was preceded by her grandfather and her first husband Bill Allen.
