Mr. Turner was born January 27, 1949, in Columbus, MS, to the late Billy and Maxine Turner. He served in the Nation Guard and was a land surveyor. Mr. Turner enjoyed singing and spending time with is family and friends. He was also preceded in death by his brother-in-law, John Coats.
Funeral services will be Friday at 2:00 in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Tony Gallop and Brian Harrison officiating. Burial will follow in the Wofford Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday 12-2 prior to the service.
Mr. Turner is survived by his wife, Dean Turner of Vernon, AL; his son, Shane (Farrah) Turner of Hamilton, AL; his daughter, Kelly (Brian) Harrison of Fulton, MS; five grandchildren, Kyleigh Turner, Hagen Turner, Zack Turner, Luke Harrison, and Jake Harrison; his brother, William (Kay) Turner of Vernon, AL; his sister, Deborah Coats of Vernon, AL; his nieces and nephews, Lana Franks, Tammy Chavers, Ashley Srebrenik, and John Coats; and a host of friends and other relatives.
