Born in McKinney TX, the son of Eula "Buggs" Butler and the late Herman "Fuzzy" Butler. He was a utility man for 18 years with Vulcan Materials Rock Quarry and a member of Happy Valley Baptist Church. Chris kicked esophageal cancer Butler style.
He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Christy Dawn Butler, sons Joseph and Eli Butler and his mother all of Villa Rica; his brothers Matt and Cayce Butler of Carrollton; nieces, nephews and extended family also survive.
Funeral service will be held Wed April 8 at 11 am from Happy Valley Baptist Church. Burial to follow in Melrose Hills in Paulding County. J Collins Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
