Hyram A (Gayton) Gaydon

I know his tombstone has it spelled HYRAM, but all other records noted his name as "Hiram A. Gayton".
The above was sent to me through edit button.

Hiram is the son of Uriah Gaydon.
I found him in the 1870 Lumpkin County census records and he was 25 years old with his wife Elmira and a son James, 5 years old. He worked in the Gold Mines.
He served in the Civil War. He enlisted with his older brother William March 4, 1862 as a private. Captured at Vicksburg, Miss, July 4, 1863. Exchanged October 8, 1863. Roll dated December 31, 1863
He was buried in the Gayton Family Cemetery.
