Alma English, age 86, of Barnhart, Missouri, passed away Sunday April 5, 2015 at her home.
She was born November 21, 1928 in Piggott, Arkansas the daughter of the late Dovie (nee Krick) and Eddie Scheffler.
She is survived by her husband James Robert English, sons Bobby English of Barnhart and David (Donna) English of Barnhart, brother Everett (the late Carlene) Scheffler of Festus, Missouri, sister Lucille (Rex) Cate of Piggott, Arkansas, grandchildren Crystal Louise (James Ricky, Jr.) Rorie of Bolivar, Missouri, Breann (Christopher) Landis stationed in Japan, Katie (Tyler) Davis of Barnhart, Alexis English of Jadwin, Missouri and Phillip English of Barnhart.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by brothers Junior (Ella Jean survives of Piggott, Arkansas) Scheffler and Paul (the late Eunice) Scheffler and a sister Velma (Clifford survives of Abilene, Texas) Hollis.
She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Barnhart.
Visitation 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thursday, April 9, 2015 at Vinyard Hillcrest Funeral Home in Pevely, Missouri. Funeral services 10:00 A.M. Friday, April 10, 2015 at the funeral home officiated by Pastor Duane Meissner of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Barnhart.
Interment in Shepherd Hills Cemetery in Barnhart.
