He was born February 28, 1921, at Festus, Missouri, to James Allan and Alice Agnew Allan.
Mr. Allan was a veteran, having served with the United States Air Force. On January 5, 2005, he was married at Mountain Home, Arkansas, to Dorothy Allan.
After retiring as a Chevrolet mechanic, he enjoyed farming, animals and gardening. Mr. Allen was of the Catholic faith.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Allan, West Plains, Missouri; two children, James Allan, wife, Gloria and Raymond Allan, all of Salt Lake City, Utah; one sister, Elaine Smith, State of Rhode Island; and several nieces and nephews.
His parents, first wife, one sister and two brothers, precede him in death.
Burial will be in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter, Rhode Island.
