Mr. James F. "Jim" Shoemaker, DSN 7133, started his career as an Auto Mechanic at the Fleet Services Division on 11/18/1968. Mr. Shoemaker tendered his resignation on 03/09/1976 to seek gainful employment in the private sector. Mr. Shoemaker served a total of 7.3 years a faithful and dedicated service to the Saint Louis Metropolitan Police Department.

Mr. Shoemaker was a veteran of the United States Army and served during World War II, and achieved the rank of Private.
Of note: Mr. Shoemaker comes from a very long list Shoemakers' that have proudly served the Saint Louis Metropolitan Police Department.
